Dr. Anthony Rea

Dr. Rea received his dental degree from the University of British Columbia in 1998 and practiced as a general dentist for 3 years in Vancouver. He quickly realized that surgery was a passion for him and he entered an intensive hospital based residency at the University of Washington in Seattle. He has been practicing the full scope of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery for 13 years in Victoria. He is a certified Specialist in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery with college of dental surgeons of B.C.. He is a fellow of the Royal College of Dentist in Canada. He is the current Division Head for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department at Island Health. He has two hospital appointments in Victoria. He is married and has two children. His hobbies include playing soccer and fishing.
